Danfoss offers their Plus+1 Guide development environment, which allows the graphical design of controller software (PLC). Both the environment and the developed controller codes are safety critical and must meet the highest quality standards while being developed by different teams all over the world.
We developed a Danfoss specific quality monitor suiting their quality requirements and a tool for monitoring quality improvement and deterioration over versions and development sites. This required a parser for extracting information from Delphi, Pascal and Graphical source code, and Structured Text for analyzing software quality metrics.
